Modern Jazz and contemporary style

Modern Jazz and contemporary style

Over the years, there have been many new styles of dance, following the evolution of music and the diversity of people, and their traditional styles, Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, Twyla Tharp, and others are all creators of these new styles and are now recognised as modern and jazz techniques worldwide. They provide a different approach to Dance. Turn out is not emphasised, and therefore is less demanding for the body. The upper body is worked individually, shoulders, head and back and adds another dimension to the rigorous ballet technique. We recommend it for all those who want a well-rounded vocabulary of Dance.

With the evolution of time, music and genres  of many cultures continue to  to bring to us many new ways to move. Contemporary dance can choose any of these to the evolution of dance composition and technique.
