Ten weeks spring workshop 2022 starting April 18th
Ballet Bras d’Or School of Dance is happy to announce a spring workshop with Leah-Rose.
At a young age Leah began dancing with Ballet Bras d’Or, featuring in “The Little Prince,” “Alice in Wonderland,” and “The Book of the Jungle” among the many shows performed on Cape Breton over the years. She took part in workshops with the Atlantic Ballet and Dance Nova Scotia.
She moved on to Halifax in 2009 where she enrolled in the comprehensive teacher training program at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts. She graduated with a Dance Diploma and Teacher’s Certificate for ballet and jazz in 2012. After graduating, she moved to Sherbrook Quebec where she taught and performed ballet and contemporary at L’Arabesque École de Danse. We are looking forward to her talent and experience with old and new students from the island. Welcome back to all!
